What kinds of products do you sell?

District Electricals offers the best brands in consumer electronics at fantastic prices. We specialise in audio-visual technology, providing a fantastic range of [TVs], [Home Cinema Systems] and [DVD and Blu-Ray Players].  We also offer a brilliant selection of [Laptops], [PCs], [Digital Cameras] and more! We only sell the best, cherry-picking amazing products from top names such as [Samsung], [Panasonic], [LG] and [Sony]. We seek to bring you the best products at the best possible price, stocking a mix of Brand New, Box Damaged, Grade A and end-of-line electronics that allow us to offer you some of the most amazing prices on the market!


What do you mean by ‘Brand New and Sealed’?

‘[Brand New and Sealed]’ products have never been used or opened and are in perfect condition direct from the factory. All Brand New and Sealed products carry a full manufacturer’s warranty.

What do you mean by ‘Box Damaged?’

‘[Box Damaged]’ products are in perfect ‘as new’ condition direct from the factory. The boxes of these products have been opened or slightly damaged, but the products inside are in perfect condition. All Box Damaged stock is fully tested by the manufacturer and then tested by us prior to dispatch to ensure that there is no fault. The vast majority of Box Damaged products carry a full 12 month manufacturer’s warranty, but some are covered by our own 12 month warranty. What do you mean by ‘Grade A’?

Manufacturers classify products as ‘[Grade A]’ for many different reasons. The reasons for individual product classifications are never revealed, but common reasons include box damage, end of line stock and customer returns. Our entire Grade A stock has been fully tested by the manufacturer and checked by us prior to dispatch to ensure that there is no fault. We provide a full 12 month warranty on every Grade A product we sell.


In the interests of absolute honesty and customer satisfaction, we always state that there may be very slight cosmetic marks on our Grade A product. We select only the very best graded product, and most are perfect, but the truth is that ANY handling may result in slight marking of the casing. This is especially true of the high gloss finishes on modern TVs. However, any marks that do exist are almost invisible in normal viewing conditions. It is extremely rare for a customer to be disappointed by the condition of one of our products. Please refer to our 100% positive feedback on eBay and Review Centre. Can I upgrade my product?

We are very pleased to offer upgrades to some of our products. We are happy to perform a RAM upgrade on many of our [Grade A Laptops] and [Netbooks], and we are now also able to offer free DVD multi-region upgrades to many of our DVD players. What is included with my product?

All of our products come complete with their original accessories and most of them come with the original packaging still intact.

How can I order my product?

You can place an order with us in the following ways:

  • By phone:We will be very pleased to take your order over the phone. Please have your payment details at hand, alongside the details of the product you would like to purchase, and call 01905 887705, where one of our sales assistants will be delighted to help you.

Can I reserve a product?

We are happy to reserve some of our products if you cannot pay immediately. In order to reserve a product, we require a deposit of £30 or 10% of the product value, whichever is the greater. How can I pay for my order?

We are pleased to offer a range of payment options and attempt to cater for every need.

  • Card:We are pleased to accept all major credit and debit cards via our [website order form]. Please note that we cannot accept American Express.
  • PayPal:We also offer secure checkout with PayPal. The ‘Express Checkout’ feature is quick and easy to use.
  • Phone: We are happy to accept payments over the phone. Please call us on 01905 887705 and have your payment details ready.
  • Bank transfer: We are happy for you to pay by bank transfer. Please call us on 01905 887705, or email at [email protected]so we can provide you with our details and take you through the checkout process.
  • Cash:We can accept cash payments at our [showroom] in Worcester.

Can I pay for my order in instalments?

Is there a surcharge for credit card payments?

No, unlike many Internet retailers, we do not make a surcharge for credit card payments. 

Can I cancel my order?

You are entitled to cancel your order before it is despatched, and up to 14 days after you have received your item. Please see our Returns Policy for full details.

Product delivery

How long will it take for my product to be delivered?

The majority of our products are shipped via a Next Working Day service with [DPD]; however, some remote areas of the UK are subject to Two Working Day service. Large TVs and Plasma screens are shipped with a specialist delivery company, which can take up to 5 working days. Items which use this service are clearly marked in the product listing. What is your Easy 14 Day Returns?

Ordered the wrong item or changed your mind?  Don’t worry; simply contact us within 14 days of delivery to arrange a hassle free return. (Please refuer to our full returns policy for more details).

  1. Email us at [email protected] stating the reason you want to return it, your name, address and order number and the product in question.
  2. We'll get back to you within 24 hours to authorise the return.
  3. You can then send the product back to us via a secure courier.
  4. Once we've received the product back we’ll check it over and you will receive your refund within 7 days.


Is there a delivery charge?

Many products have a small delivery charge of £9.99. Higher delivery charges are applicable for larger products. Some remote areas of the UK are also subject to higher delivery charges. Though we strive to cover all areas of the UK, the Scottish Highlands and some UK islands are not currently covered. How can I give delivery instructions?

Which courier service do you use?

Most of our items are delivered by [DPD].  We find DPD to be the best couriers on the market as they offer a secure and reliable service all year round. DPD also provide the ultimate in convenience with their excellent 1-Hour Predict service. This facility notifies you of your delivery time via text or email, so that waiting around for your parcel becomes a thing of the past. DPD even operate zero carbon delivery!

 Large TVs and Plasma screens can be very fragile and difficult to deliver, often resulting in breakages and accidental damage. In order to avoid this, we use a specialist delivery company for these items to ensure that all items are delivered safely and in perfect condition. This specialist service can take a little longer, but in return we can offer total peace of mind that your product is in the right hands.

Where can you deliver to?

Our delivery companies cover the majority of the mainland UK. Some areas of Scotland are not covered. We do not currently deliver to the Scottish Highlands and some UK islands. If you have any queries about delivery, please contact us on 01905 778805 or [email protected]

Can I collect my goods?

Yes, you are welcome to collect your goods from our showroom in Worcester. To do this, payment for your item needs to have been cleared. You also need to arrange a time for collection, and bring along two forms of ID, one of which needs to be photo ID. Suggested forms of ID include:

  • Driving License
  • Passport
  • Utility Bill

If a credit or debit card has been used for payment, the address on the ID must match the billing address. Collections must be made in person, and cannot be conducted by a third party. 

What happens if I miss my delivery?

If you miss your delivery, you can collect your parcel from the nearest [DPD] depot. In order to do this, you will need to [contact them] with your consignment number to arrange collection. When collecting your item, you will need the following pieces of information:

  • One form of photo ID (driving licence, passport etc.)
  • An additional form of ID confirming your address (utility bill, bank statement etc.)
  • Your DPD consignment number

Do you offer a discount for bulk purchases?

No, we do not currently offer a TV installation service.
